No. I am an ICEEFT-trained couples counsellor based in Thailand, and I work with European clients online. In Finland the title 'psykoterapeutti' is protected by law — I don't use it. I practice EFT-based couples counselling. See the note at the bottom of this page.
Emotionally Focused Therapy. It looks at the pattern between you — the cycle you get stuck in — instead of blaming one person. Thirty years of research show it helps distressed couples. It is not advice-giving.
No, but that's where I have the most experience. If one or both of you come from a background I haven't worked with much, tell me on the discovery call and I'll be honest about fit.
Sessions are in English. I can hold space in Thai if one partner prefers, and we'll agree on a shared session language together.
Sessions happen on Zoom under their GDPR agreement. Notes are encrypted, stored in the EU, kept for the legally required time, and never shared without your written consent.
